For this concert Fyfe plans to dedicate it to the memory of her father, Dick Fyfe (1930-2022), to honor his lifelong love of music and art nurtured in our own Centre County area. A special performance by artist, singer and fiddler Lindsey Fyfe is planned. the music theme will be Centre County Bluegrass and will be featuring the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners. The Advent Church and Historical Museum located at 1303 Moose Run Road, Bellefonte, is hosting their second of three concerts, entitled Music at the Advent, that will be held this year. Lamar Lighthouse Campground is located along Route 64 in Lamar. The concerts are free to attend, but a love offering is taken during the service. The Lore Family will be in concert on July 16. Lamar Lighthouse Camp is having their summer concerts on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the cemetery association’s perpetual care and grass mowing expenses. Bring a lawn chair and settle in for some old-fashioned festival fun. featuring the Lomison Family and Friends. Lots of food stands will be offering hamburgers, hot dogs, hot sausages, french fries, hoagies, corn dogs, ice cream and cake. and offers a Chinese auction, dime and penny pitch, fish pond and other kid’s games along with Bingo and the Paddle Wheel. The Jacksonville Cemetery Association’s annual festival is on Saturday, too! The Festival starts at 5 p.m. Overnight camping is available at the Sportsman’s Club grounds. Muzzleloader Shoots are held every second Saturday of the month. The kitchen will be open to serve lunch, eat in or take outs.
Tomorrow there will be a Sporting Clay Shoot with 50 targets that runs from 10 a.m. Liberty Township Sportsman’s Club will be having some events that you may be interested in. Get a whole bagful of clothes and accessories for just $5. for some really nice items that have been donated.įaith Chapel’s Bargains and Blessings Community Closet will also be open in the church for you to browse and purchase new and gently used clothing in all sizes. Sign up for the jello eating contest that begins at 1 p.m. Come enjoy countless games and a moon bounce along with great food and baked goods during the day. Along with the Fun Fair there will also be a silent auction.
